Any other mommas thought about making extra cash on the side? In the last year I have sat and thought about just about everything I can do from home to make extra cash. I attempt to be a jack of all trades but I am really not. I try spray tanning people, a little photography, babysitting, applying for work from home jobs(never had any luck landing them), and have looked into pampered chef, origami owl, and other direct sales jobs.

About a month ago I went out on a limb and decided to try my hand at selling Scentsy which is a product I have liked for  a long time! The commission I have earned in one month is enough to cover my car payment. I thought everyone was scamming me into some commitment but there is no commitment just extra cash flow to a tight income. Has it been a little work? Yes. I package everything pretty for my customers and label every product with my name and contact information for future purchases but is that worth my car payment? YES!! HECK YES!!

It is a cliché saying, but “it sells itself” rings pretty true for Scentsy. I work full time and have two kids, but we dream of living big and while I am sitting at home winding down after a long day a little effort goes a long ways. I hope the coming months bring about bigger sales but any extra cash is worth it for me. My ultimate goal is working from home!

It is pretty crazy to me that it has really been so simple and every time I get a package at my doorstep I get really excited for everyone else’s product! 3. don’t be afraid to harass your coworkers to buy something from you ..kidding
4. DO go around to larger companies with your catalogs and scent samplers!
5. DO create a fb page where people can reach out to you, everyone uses social media these days!
6. DO send out samples to neighbors with your card so that people know your in the area if they need anything!
7. DO set goals for yourself and try to reach them!
8. DO be proud to say you are now a scentsy consultant
