So he popped the question six months ago but wedding planning has barely begun and we’ve booked the venue for September 2nd! Eeeeek!!

With about 5 months until we say I do I’m in full wedding mode and to take away some of the stress of planning we’ve decided to hire a wedding planner. Probably in my best interest considering the fact that five months flies by and I have absolutely no clue what I’m doing or how to bring my vision to life.

What I have been able to tackle myself is finding the venues I want, locking those in for the date we chose, and setting up a mini shoot to send out some save the dates.

I debated whether or not to send photos with my save the date cards but because I’m having trouble with what save the date cards I want I decided to do photos just in case I do decide to do a card that includes a photo or a magnet. There’s so many great ideas and I love them all!

My vision for our save the date photo shoot was an outdoor casual style shoot somewhere overlooking Boise and Table Rock is the perfect location for that. I also wanted photos that didn’t feel staged and our good friend Angela captured that for us! The weather was not in our favor but I think they turned out pretty great!
