There is so much I want to say about our wedding ceremony but I don’t even know where to begin.
From the start of wedding planning we knew we wanted an intimate ceremony with a formal dinner to follow.w We kept the ceremony small with those nearest and dearest to us, we only had about 65 people in attendance. It allowed us to really be ourselves. I didn’t feel like I was playing hostess (which everyone knows I don’t like to do), I didn’t feel like anyone was there to judge us, I just honestly felt like those that were there were there praying with us, rooting for us, inspiring us, and supporting us and it made the wedding all the more sweeter.
By far, the most unplanned moment of the ceremony was Benson refusing to get in the wagon so sissy could pull him down the aisle with her. He insisted on holding my hand and walking me down the aisle which ended up being one of the sweetest moments of the ceremony.

We began the ceremony with prayer over our family which was really important to me. The ceremony was about so much more than just Anthony and I making the commitment to each other. We have two beautiful kids that we are making the commitment to so opening up the ceremony with a family commitment was precious.

We chose to write our own vows. I was worried about Anthony writing his own vows, but he blew me away and everyone else at the ceremony. There wasn’t a dry eye during the exchanging of vows. Can I just relive that moment every day. I always say to friends I wish he was more expressive, I wish he was intentionally passionate…but in that moment…he was more than I’ve ever seen.
And now, to be MR and MRS!!
