Happy Halloween from the Cox family! Take 1.

Boo at the Zoo is something I have been wanting to take the kids to, and each year something comes up and we don’t take them but this year I was bound and determined to make it happen.

A summary of our really rushed day.

Benson was tired and grouchy. Taytum was hungry and grouchy.

We swapped cars last minute and forgot their Halloween baskets, Benson’s shoes, and his lion hat.

We strolled around a very packed zoo, Benson spilled red Gatorade all over the backside of his costume within five minutes, he had candy stuck to him, and we spent forever looking for a shoe cover for his lion paws that somehow fell off.

Good news, we finally did something I’ve been wanting to do for a couple years, I got to play around with makeup, the kids were loaded up with sugar, and we found the lost shoe cover!
