Trick. R. Treat.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM THE COX FAMILY!

Take 2.

We took the kids down Harrison Boulevard, which is on the North end of Boise. Halloween is quite extravagant down there. Most of the street is lined with homes decorated to the extreme with Halloween EVERYTHING. Themed houses, yards, people, etc. It’s like Halloween town down there. It’s amazing! The kids LOVED it, and so did I! Festive communities that my kids get to grow up in make me so happy. Like, there are good people in the world.  The people who live down there put so much effort into making Halloween fun for families and kids. I LOVE BOISE!

Ghosts, Goblins, spiders, flying bats, witches, candy, and much more. The beautiful fall trees and piles of leaves around the streets. Glow sticks, swords, and necklaces… I can’t get enough of it!

For as shy as Benson is, and as clingy as Benson is, he surprised all of us by running up to each door, waiting patiently for his turn, and saying “tank you, buhbye” each time he was given some candy..or toys (because they hand hot wheel cars down there) YIPPIE! Bubs loves choochoos! The best part of all was Benson didnt lose any articles of clothing or costume, and he wore his lion hat the entire time!

Taytum is practically trick-r-treating without me. She runs way ahead, but of course comes back for Bubs to make sure he gets his turn. Each year we spent Halloween walking the streets with our best friends, and lucky for Tay…her best friend as well! The girls are inseparable and as I watched them talk up each others costumes, share candy, play big sissy to their siblings, and pose for photos I was reminiscing of a time when we were walking up to doors with them.

Halloween turned out to be such a treat, for the kids and for me. Blessed to spend it with good friends, the perfect family, and in a beautiful city.
