Best. Brunch. Boise.

A crazy Friday night, followed by a peaceful Saturday morning.

After the longest work week EVER + an ON CALL weekend, brunch downtown was much needed.

Kid free.. SAY WHAT? You mean,  this momma actually gets to have a meal…Alone. Before 8:30pm. Without a toddler sitting on her lap. AND…talk to another adult… WITHOUT interuptions… You bet I did! Felt AMAZING!

I need to do this more often. Way more often.

We had brunch at the Fork Restaurant downtown, and on our way out of the restaurant found ourselves in the middle of the Saturday Market. So of course, we had to do a little browsing.

Local shops set up tents with fresh flowers, breads, herbs, spices, jams, jewelry, paintings, and other local art. Really awesome stuff. I love all things local.

Streets were lined with people browsing through the tents, a boy playing the violin and dancing to his own tune on the sidewalk, crisp fall air, and the smell of tiny donuts filling the market.
